ENFUCE

Enfuce delivers Card as a Service to the financial industry, mainly working towards clients located in Europe and the Middle East who want to enable digital payments for their customers. Our mission is to become a forerunner of the financial industry and the number one CaaS provider. This industry is extremely fast-paced and we are heavily investing in R&amp;D to reach our goals.
<h3>Our stack</h3>
We provide a full range of services for everything related to payments. The system and solutions are all being ran in AWS and we operate within multiple AWS regions in Europe. Our main programming language is Java but we also use node.Js and Python – depending on the service’s specific requirements.
In all of our systems we implement high availability without a single point of failure, which entails at least 2 availability zones for all our services, as well as autoscaling by design, making our system and services stateless and therefore scalable both horizontally and vertically. Moreover, we operate solely with code as our infrastructure and deploy all changes through an automatic pipeline.
We utilize various AWS services throughout our products. Our main service from AWS is EC2 instances, which we deploy or services to. We also rely on ECS (Container Service), more specifically Fargate. We use Elastic load balancing for handling the TLS termination and balancing between our nodes. S3 is used for storage and Lambda is our pick for simplifying automation and running code directly without any servers. Depending on the use case for an application, we use plain EC2 instances, DynamoDB and RDS.
<h3>Collaboration, flexibility and growth</h3>
Working at Enfuce means having a lot of freedom and autonomy, which can be in the form of flexible working hours, selecting your own tools and working on a large variety of projects with both technical and business-driven teams. At this point, we are a fully remote workplace which allows our team members, called Enfucers, to work from anywhere. Enfucers have shared what they value about our company culture and the most common answers tend to revolve around the respectful and collaborative atmosphere, the great learning opportunities and the helpful team environment. Our own systems are built mainly with Java and .Net frameworks, and we use SQL Server to a large extent. We work with multiple tech stacks that allow us to build tailored solutions that will fit all of our clients’ needs. Our go-to CMS platform for custom sites is Sanity, integrated with Shopify for e-commerce projects. We are using a fully headless stack with Next.js (React) for all of our new projects, increasing performance and security. We pair this with Tailwind for styling and a set of React component libraries that guarantee full accessibility.
For API development, we&#8217;re all about serverless! When not utilizing Next.js&#8217;s built-in edge functions, we work mainly with Google Cloud&#8217;s Firebase products, such as Firestore, Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions. Additionally, we have some projects running on AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB as well as Cloudflare Workers. We specialize in building internal tools that help businesses increase their productivity, and the interfaces for these are all built using Angular or, more recently, Next.js.
When it comes to Android and iOS apps, Flutter, Google&#8217;s framework built around the Dart language, is our tool of choice to build cross-platform apps with native-like performance.
