We are a cruise ship company offering unique experiences and great service to our customers on the Baltic Sea on our seven ships. We value our customers and our people and strive to become as sustainable as possible in everything we do.

According to our customers, Viking Line offers the best value for money. We provide a unique combination of good food, great shopping, warm comfort and exciting entertainment. This applies no matter if the customer is on a cruise, en route to a destination or transporting goods. We also play a key role in society as a transporter of critical goods to and from Finland together with Sweden and Estonia. 

Variety and flexibility

As an international cruise company covering a wide range of services, we require a variety of different platforms. Viking Line is responsible for the following platforms (amongst many others): online booking, Point-of-Sales onboard all ships, Product Information, Warehousing, Viking Line App, Web pre-order and more. These platforms are a combination of internally built systems and acquired, out-of-the-box solutions. Our own systems are built mainly with Java and .Net frameworks, and we use SQL Server to a large extent. In addition, we are looking for expertise in data and analytics, marketing automation, communications and robotics.

Pushing for curiosity

We work both in-house in teams and in close collaboration with partner companies. Our approach is flexible and agile in order to create value to Viking Line, both in the form of ongoing agile development and bigger projects. Career opportunities range from trainee positions in one of the development fields to assisting in building future analytics capabilities for our business.
