How to apply
The grit:lab application process consists of three steps, one of which will be held on site at grit:lab campus on the Åland Islands. Ready to take on a life-changing challenge?
The online games
The application process starts with two online cognitive games that will require about 2 hours of your undivided attention. Zero coding skills are required, only logic and memory. You will have three attempts to pass these games. If successful, you’ll be invited to attend the online check-in.
The check-in
Here, you’ll get your first live digital introduction to our campus and meet our people. We’ll also present the general program schedule and overall plan for your studies at grit:lab. The online check-in is mandatory and is your gateway to the Piscine.
The Piscine
The Piscine is an intensive 3.5 – week on site introductory period at the grit:lab campus on the Åland Islands. During this phase, you’ll immerse yourself in peer-to-peer learning and get a feel for the way grit:lab works. The Piscine will be the last step in defining who will enroll.
Who is this for?
No prior coding experience or degrees required, we only ask that you are at least 18, open-minded, motivated to learn to code and willing to completely immerse yourself in the grit:lab mindset of always pushing for better.
Our program runs entirely in English, and effective collaboration in our peer-to-peer model requires being conversational.
